MRS. MINNIE ALBERS
Funeral service for Mrs. Minnie Albers, 86, Union City were at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Union City High School auditorium , Rev. A. Blake Hickman, Chickasha, officiated.
Mrs. Albers was born Sept 6, 1878 in Germany and came to the United States at an early age, settling in Nebraska. She was married to Henry F. Albers on April 10, 1900 in Tecumseh, Nebr. and they moved to a farm near Union City in 1909. Mr. Albers preceded her in death on Nov, 17, 1940. She was a member of the Union City Methodist Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Garvin McComas, Verden, Mrs. Karl Mannaschreck, of Union City, and Mrs. Fred Priebe and Mrs. Margaret Fuhring of Oklahoma City; four sons, Fred Albers of Minco, Bill Albers and Henry Albers of El Reno, and Tony Albers of Union City, 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Interment was in the Union City Cemetery under direction of Benson Funeral Home of El Reno.
