Lucille Marie (Christie) Batt

Funeral services for Lucille Marie Batt, 60, of Oaks were held Friday, Jan. 15 at the Reed Culver Chapel with the Rev. Randall Cummings officiating. Burial was in the Thompson Cemetery. She was born Aug. 14, 1927 in Chewey to Ned and Lillie Thompson Christie. She died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1988. She grew up in the Chewey area and later attended Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kan. For the last several years she had worked as an inspector at Gates Rubber Co. in Siloam Springs, AR.

She is survived by two daughters, Delois Carrol of Oaks and Deborah Glass of Tulsa; six sons, Phillip McIntosh of Fort Worth, TX; Ned McIntosh of Tulsa, James Prichett of Langley; Jack Pritchett of Oaks; Justin Pritchett of Rocky Ford and Jerry Prichett of Rogers, AR; her mother, Lillie Mae Christie of Chewey; a brother, Dennis Christie of Chewey and nine grandchildren.

The funeral was under the direction of the Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
