Mr. Murphy attended Thomas Edison Elementary, Sequoia Middle School and L.G. Pinkson H.S. He married Maria Isabel Perez on April 14, 2001 in Grand Prairie, TX. He worked as a press operator.
Mr. Murphy was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church, Arlington, TX.

Sisters: Wanda Jo Burke of Tulsa, OK; Trish Moreno of Herndon, VA; Norma Simmons of Irving, TX; Phyllis Davis of Irving, TX; Mary Rodriguez of Irving, TX

Services are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., First Baptist Church, Coalgate, OK. The Rev. Jeff Self will officiate.
Interment will be at Round Lake Cemetery
