She was born at home on the Blackstock Place between Hardtner and Kiowa, Kan., June 25, 1926, to Jesse and Nettie Mae Hiatt Tidwell and died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at Beadles Nursing Home, Alva.
She was a 1944 graduate of Kiowa High School and spent all her life in the Kiowa and Burlington areas.
She married Fred Junior Dumler April 16, 1944, in Anthony, Kan. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Riverside Church of Christ and the Farmerette Club. She also served as treasurer of Mount Zion Cemetery Board.
Surviving are two children, Fred Lee Dumler of Lyon, Kan., and Glenna Gayle Hoke of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior, and three brothers.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Riverside Cemetery or Riverside Church of Christ.
