Patricia F. "Patty" Elliott, 75, of Texhoma; went to her heavenly home Friday morning, August 6th, 2010 at her home.
The daughter of Floyd and Myrtle (Clark) Good she was born on November 11, 1934 in Prague, Oklahoma. Patty was raised in Seminole, Oklahoma. She attended one year of college at Oklahoma A&M in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
She was united in marriage to Emery Elliott on September 20, 1953 at the First Baptist Church in Seminole. To this union three children were born: Shelly, Rocky, and Andy. The family moved to Texhoma in 1962, and ran the Dairy Kreem until August of 2007.
Patty was lovingly called Ma by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and most of Texhoma. One of her greatest joys was playing the piano. She served as pianist for the First Baptist Church for nearly 40 years.
Survivors include her husband Emery of nearly 57 years. Her children: Shelly and husband, Bob Burgess of Guymon; Rocky and wife, Virginia of Texhoma; and Andy of Texhoma; grandchildren: Shane Elliott and wife, Stephanie of Yukon, Oklahoma, Andy Pat Elliott and wife, Becky of Texhoma, Austin Elliott and Amy Elliott of Texhoma, Craig Burgess of Guymon, Casey Burgess and wife, Nicole of Guymon, Lindsay and husband, Jeremy Wester of Springer, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren: Payton and Jace Elliott of Happy, Texas, Jaden and Carson Elliott of Yukon, Oklahoma, Tabra and Kennedy Elliott of Texhoma, Emma Wester of Springer, Oklahoma, and Wyatt Burgess of Guymon. Survivors also include two brothers, Vaughn Good and wife, Laura of Enid, Oklahoma and Rondald Good and wife, Doris of Cody, Wyoming; her mother-in-law, Iva Elliott of Hardesty, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon, August 9th at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Texhoma with Rev. Winston Curtis officiating. Interment will follow in the Range Cemetery SE of Hardesty, Oklahoma. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
The Elliott family request memorials be given to the Gideons International or a charity of choice. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
