USED PISTOL TO SUICIDE WITH
Word was received in town early Tuesday morning of the death of Chas. Dumbell at this home about 30 miles east of Guymon, near Grand Valley. Justice of the Peace J. R. Paine and Dr. Davidson went to the home shortly after being notified where an inquest was held and verdict of suicide made. Mr. Dumbell was 34 years of age, leaves a wife and two children, girls 8 and 4 years old. About 3:30 in the morning member of the family were startled by the report of the revolver........
Death was instant, as his position showed. The cause of the act was not accounted for and his affairs were in very good shape, it is asserted. he was foreman of the ranch owned by James Maloney, who has other ranches in Kansas, and lived on the place fifteen years and was raised by Mr. Maloney.
