Evalina "Totty" Tasso-Dillinger, 91, of Miami, formerly of Kingfisher, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at her home.
A wake service was held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Geary Tribal Community Hall. Funeral services were set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Geary Tribal Community Hall. Burial will follow at Kingfisher Indian Cemetery under direction of Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home of Miami.
She was born Sept. 28, 1919, in Walt Hill, Neb., to Byron P. Adams and Nettie Jennie Tasso-Crotzer.
She was reared in the Cheyenne-Arapaho tribal area of Kingfisher and was a Cheyenne-Arapaho tribal member as well as part Hopi.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Louise Wibur and Rosie Marie Duvall, both of Miami, and one son, Mitch Walking Elk.
She was preceded in death by one son, Lonnie Ray Tasso-Hulvey, and one grandson
