Clint was born on June 7, 1933, in Newport, Okla., to Will and Liller Anderson Douglas. He was one of eight children born to this union. He died on Jan. 24, 2005, in Kansas City.

Clint was baptized and united with the Mt. Olive Baptist Church at a young age. He was educated through the St. John Elementary in the vicinity where Mt. Olive is presently located. He attended Lincoln High School in Gene Autry and graduated from Central High School in Milo in 1954, along with his sister, Delores. Clint stayed in close contact with his classmates. He was especially close to his mother, very loving and devoted to his family, relatives and friends. He cared about children, the elderly and God's creatures. He was an avid sportsman who dearly loved to hunt and fish even in his younger years. Clint looked forward each year when he and his hunting buddies would get together and go pheasant and rabbit hunting. He truly loved life and lived it to the fullest.

Clint looked forward to coming home to visit family, friends and hunting buddies. He never met a stranger, and all who knew him loved him. He was a joy to know and be around.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Delores Butler; brother, James Louis; and nephews, Gerri Grant and Jeffrey Jones.
