Hobart Dale Adams, 66, of Swink, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 1997.
He was a retired Bell Helicopter employee and rancher since retirement. He was a member of the Swink Baptist Church.
Hobart Adams was born July 13, 1931, near Fort Towson, to Clarence and Mary (Holden) Adams. He came to the area from Irving, Texas. He was an area resident for 50 years and loved to ranch and farm.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Hoyt and Houston Adams.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, in First Baptist Church in Fort Towson, with the Rev. Philip Webb officiating.
Burial will be in Fort Towson Cemetery under direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.
Survivors include a son, Michael Dale Adams of Allen; four sisters, Imogene Blackshere of Oklahoma City, Lorene McMahan of Midwest City, Clariece Anderson of Seminole and Nevada Smith of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren and a very dear friend, Charlie Edna Fennell, of Swink.
