ARETTA GIBSON ALLEN
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of the Crews Funeral Home here for Mrs. Aretta L. Allen, 67, who died unexpectedly at her home here Tuesday.
Rev. Danny Moss, pastor of the United Methodist Church, assisted by Rev. Ray Wood, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen was born November 18, 1906 at Celeste, Tex., and came to Apache with her parents at an early age. She married Monroe Allen July 22, 1926 in Lawton. She returned to Apache in 1971. Mrs. Allen was a member of the United Methodist Church of Apache.
Survivors include two daughters, Reba Jo Kindle of Princeton, Tex., and Eletha Mae Small of Lawton; four sisters, Inez Lee, Violet Sims and Lorene Potts, all of Apache; and Elva Parisi of Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers, Chester Gibson of Lawton and R.C. Gibson of Steelcoom, Wash.; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
