Terry Lee King, 47, of Shawnee, passed away Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010.
He was born March 5, 1963, in Panama Canal Zone and raised primarily in Oklahoma. He dreamed of being a pilot as a child but instead chose to be a mechanic.
He loved cars and could fix anything. He raced his prized possession, a 1969 Chevy Nova.
Preceding him in death is his father, Jimmy King of Oklahoma, and maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Clarine St. Claire of North Dakota.
Survivors include his mother, Geraldine King of Wichita Falls, Texas; wife of 15 years, Sharon King of Shawnee; two sons, Matthew and Michael King, both of Midwest City; brother, Perry King, Ardmore; sister, Sherry Roubidoux, Shawnee; Kerry Belcher, Oak Grove, Mo.; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Wake services are scheduled for 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at Spring Baptist Church, Sasakwa.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at Spring Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Harjo and the Rev. Houston Tiger officiating. Burial will be at Davis Family Cemetery in Sasakwa. Arrangements are by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
