Lydia was the daughter of Levi and Annie (Owens) Sunday; she was born on July 2, 1934 in the Dry Creek Community in Delaware County, Oklahoma. Lydia was a lifetime resident of the Colcord area. She was a Deaconess for the Old Clouds Creek Church for many years. She enjoyed playing marbles, cooking and spending time with her family.
Lydia is preceded in death by her parents and her husband; Edward Foreman and one brother Isaac. She is survived by her four children Larry Foreman, Melvin Foreman, Lorene Foreman and Ardyth Moncooyea. She was blessed with seven grandchildren; Allen, C.J., Noah, Aaron, Donella, Lucy and Brian; and three great-grandchildren. Lydia also is survived by four brothers and sister.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Jay, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Old Clouds Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Stanley Grass officiating. Lydia will be laid to rest in the Old Clouds Creek Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home of Jay.
