Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Church of the Nazarene for L. E. Bratton, 78, pioneer Texas county resident who died Wednesday. Rev. E. L. Scroggins will preside.
The pioneer settled on a claim 17 miles northwest of Guymon in 1910, moving to town in 1942 and established residence at 211 N. Beaver.
Survivors include Mrs. Bratton, four sons, Bill of Spearman, Tex., Lloyd of South Bend, Ind., Winifred of Gruver, Tex., and Mike of Guymon; three daughters, Mrs. Vernie Mulkin and Mrs. Clara Tickle of Prairie Grove, Ark., and Mrs. Edith Roper of Gruver.
