Arthur Adams
Arthur Adams, a farmer from Akron, passed away at the Akron hospital on January 24, following a long sickness resulting from a heart condition.
The funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p. m. at the First Christian Church in Akron. Rev. T . Earle Starke, pastor, will officiate at last rites and burial will be in Riverside cemetery under direction of the Lewison funeral home.
Mr. Adams was born January 29, 1882 in Illinois. He was 71 years of age. On September 6. 1913, he was united in marriage with Carrie Ringsrude at Elk Point, South Dakota.
Survivors are the wife; one son, Ralph at home and four daughter; Mrs. Shirley Van Hoff of Le Mars; Mrs. Elsie Trudeau of Burbank, S. Dakota; Mrs. Lois Bullock of Anderson, Indiana; and Mrs. Bonnie Lou Laudenslager of Canton, South Dakota. Five grandchildren also survive.
