Joe (Daddy Joe) was employed by Golden Age as a driver, then later with the US Post Office, where he retired.
He was preceeded in death by both parents and children, Charlie Adair and Lilly Gibson.
He leaves to mourn his homegoing: his wife, Mable Adair; daughter and son, Betty Adair, Vira Roberts, Jarhonby Young and Joseph Benson; twelve grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren and one niece, Eva Gentry and a host of family and friends.
