Sister Ruth Agnes Ahlers, 89, of Dubuque, and a Le Mars area native, died Monday, March 27, 2006, at Holy Family Hall in Dubuque.
She was born Feb. 12, 1917, at Le Mars, the daughter of Henry J. and Katherine (Nuel) Ahlers.
Sister taught many years at Briar Cliff College in Sioux City.
Survivors include her sister, Ruth Ahlers, and brothers Henry (Hank) Ahlers and Robert Ahlers and his wife, Cy, all of Le Mars.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Wm. J. "Bill" Ahlers and his wife, Lois, and a sister-in-law, Mildred Ahlers.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Mount St. Francis in Dubuque, with burial in Dubuque.
