Mrs. Herbert Ahrens

Mrs. Herbert Ahrens, 64, of Aurora, Colo., formerly of Kingsley, died Nov. 12, 1976 in a Storm Lake hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the First Lutheran church in Kingsley. Rev. Walter Resner will officiate. Burial will be in Kingsley cemetery under direction of the Dickison-Michaelson funeral home of Kingsley.

Mrs. Ahrens, the former Laura Ethel King, was born May 21, 1912, in Missouri. She married Herbert Ahrens May 4, 1933, in Elk Point, S.D. He died in 1964. She was a member of the First Lutheran church of Kingsley and was a resident of Plymouth county most of her life.

Survivors are a son, George of Storm Lake; a daughter, Mrs. Don (Arlene) Davis of Kingsley: two sisters, Mrs. Rudy (Mamie) Anderson of Kingsley and Mrs. Thelma Folds of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Raymond King of Denver; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
