Betty N. Allert age 89 of McGregor, IA passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Crossing Rivers Hospital in Prairie du Chien, WI.
She was born October 1, 1925 in McGregor the daughter of Fred and Jessie (Vaughn) Bachtell.
She was married to LaVerne Allert who preceded her in death.
Betty worked at the McGregor Pharmacy for over 40 years
was an active member of the McGregor United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband,and her sisters, Martha Stuckey and Jolene Huckstadt.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the McGregor United Methodist Church in McGregor, IA with Rev. Penny Hansel officiating. A private family inurnment will be later in the Giard Cemetery in Giard, IA.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Mar-Mac Rescue Squad.
