Cookeville--Funeral services for Gladys Irene Allen, 46, will be held Tuesday, February 20, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with burial in the Dodson Branch
Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen died Saturday, (February 17, 1990) in Cookeville General Hospital.
Born May 31, 1943, in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Mildren (Murray) Hedgecough and the late Willie Hedgecough.
She was a member of the Cookeville Baptist Temple and was a homemaker.
In addition to her mother, her family includes her husband, Brice Allen of Cookeville; one daughter, Linda
Allen Lawson of Houston, Texas; one son, Jimmy Allen of Arizona; four sisters, Mary Moser, Lola Geesling, and Margaret Dyer, all of Cookeville and Ila Phillips of Monte-
rey; three brothers, Harvey, Oliver and Franklin Hedgecough, all of Monterey.
