COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Dorothy Marie Roberts Allen Pearl, 82, of Cookeville, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Washington Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will be in Dodson Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 25, and from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday from the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Pearl died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, in Masters Health Care Center in Algood.
She was born March 2, 1926, in Jackson County to the late Luther Roberts and Frances Marie Allen.
Mrs. Pearl was a homemaker and a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church. She was retired from R.P. Sherer in Michigan.
Her family includes a son and daughterinlaw, Douglas and Ruthie Allen of Murfreesboro; two daughters and a soninlaw,
Donna and Curt Reed of Cookeville and Diana Allen of Chattanooga; seven grandchildren, Kevin and Robert Reed, Angela Mooer, Chris and Jessica Amante and Jason and Jonathan Wray; eight greatgrandchildren, Austin, Jacob, Allison and Morgan Reed and Taylor, Nicklaus, Kegan and
Collin Landicho.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Doyle W. Allen and Ted Pearl.SS Card issued in MI.
Last place of residence was Rutherford Co.,TN
