age 84 years died at Jennie Edmundson Hospital following a brief illness; he farmed many years; played the accordion and entertained senior citizens along with his brothers; was an active volunteer at the Oakland Senior Center and Southwest 8 Senior and served on several of it's board; he received several Governor's Volunteer awards; member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at St. Paul Lutheran Church; Vieth Funeral Home in charge with services with Rev. Don Schlesselman officiated

Survived by wife Margaret; son Marvin of Omaha; stepdaughters, Mrs. Judie Danker of CB, Mrs. Barbara McClanahan of Bellevue, NE and Mrs. AnnaMaren Allen of Carson; stepsons Wayne Clark of Omaha and Carl Woodward and David both of CB; sister Emma Conner of Carson; brothers Delmar of Henderson and George of Carson; 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren
