Barbara A. Baecht
Barbara A. Baecht, 64, Salina, died Monday, April 6, 1998, at Salina Regional Health Center. Mrs. Baecht was born Barbara A. Collings on Nov. 27, 1933, at Wichita and was a Salina resident since 1982, moving from Ellsworth.
She was a registered nurse working in western Kansas for many years and was a nurse administrator in Ellsworth. She was a member of Ellsworth Lions Club.
A son, Karl, died in 1971.
Survivors include her husband, Larry of the home; a son, Bryant of Lawrence; and three sisters, Dora Cadnapaphornchai of Troy, Mich., Laura Hardin of Salina and Sarah Meyer of Wichita.
A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Willoughby Cemetery, north of Agenda, the Rev. Ron Lowery officiating.
Memorials may be made to Melvin E. Jones Sustaining Membership in Lions International in care of Loren Bates, 1006 Elizabeth, Ellsworth 67439. The body was cremated. There will be no visitation. Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, is handling arrangements.
