Kirwin Kansan--December 5, 1907

Per articles in the Kirwin Kansas newspaper, "Kirwin Kansan", Dwight E. Agard was born to his parents Fred W. and Effie May Freeman Agard while they were living in Wellington,Colorado. Due to problems before his birth, his Freeman grandparents traveled from Kirwin, Kansas to Colorado to be with their daughter; however, he and his mother were fine upon his birth. Sadly, less than six months later, the baby died in Colorado. The family took his body back to Kirwin, Kansas to be buried, and in January 1908, the Agard family moved back to Kirwin, later moving to Beloit, Kansas, and finally Topeka, Kansas.
