Funerals
Funeral services for Fred Adams, former local resident, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Hope cemetery, two miles south and three miles west of Arkansas City. Mr. Adams died Wednesday morning following a heart attack at his home in Mound City, Kas. He was born and raised west of Arkansas City and moved from here about two years ago. He was employed by Ralph Trenary for several years. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Inez McAllen of Mound City and Mrs. Grace Best of Greeley, Colo.
