Concerning William H. Davis
Funeral services for William H. Davis, who was killed by a falling tree on the May farm yesterday, will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Dumm chapel. The Rev. George C. Wise, of the Friends church will conduct the services. Interment will be made in the Hunt cemetery.
William H. Davis was born April 23, 1858 in Brunt county, Tenn. He came to Kansas in March 1887. He is survived by two sister and six brothers. The sisters are Mrs. Anna Wood, who lives in Idaho, and Mrs. Mary West, who lives three miles east of Emporia. The brothers are James A., John B. and Welford, of Burnt county, Tennessee; Eli and Samuel, of Whitman county, Washington, and George P., of Johnson county, Kans.
