LINCOLN - James Lynn Allsopp, 58 died in Lincoln, IL at his home on July 29, 2011. James was born to Win and Jennie Green Allsopp on October 18, 1952 in Lincoln, IL. He was a worker at Eaton Corporation and was also a U. S. Navy Veteran.
He is survived by his mother Jennie Allsopp of Mt. Pulaski, IL. His daughter Jackie Lewis of Kewanee, IL; and her four children; Kyle, Lexus, Kitana, and Bryan; his brother Bill (Carla) of Escondido, CA and his sisters; Connie Logan of Lincoln, IL, and Peggy (Dennis) Miller of Middleburg, PA.
He was preceded in death by his father and his brother Terry Lee. Services will be Friday August 5, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. from Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home of Mt. Pulaski, IL with Pastor Rachel Stockle officiating. American Legion Post #447 will conduct rites' at the funeral home. There will be a visitation an hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Mt. Pulaski Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made by choice of the donor.
