EAST BRIDGEWATER – William L. Bianchini, 55, of the Elmwood section of East Bridgewater, a shoe designer, died at home Saturday after a battle with melanoma.
Mr. Bianchini worked in the shoe industry for 30 years, most recently with Clark's Shoe Company in Newton. During those years, he traveled the world on business.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam era.
Born in Brockton, he was raised and educated in Bridgewater.
He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and tending to his yard.
He is survived by his wife, Joann (Budren) Bianchini; a daughter, Kim Bianchini of Elmwood; his mother, Olga N. (Martelli) Bianchini of Bridgewater; and a niece and two nephews.
He was the son of the late Louis P. Bianchini."
