Carl A. Buschmann, 42, died at his home in Sawyer Sunday morning from complications arising from an illness of the past six weeks. Funeral services were held at 8:30 Thursday morning from Stoneman's chapel and at 9 from Corpus Christi Church. The Rev. H. N. Pfeifer officiated, and burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Jos. Gossard, Jack Schneider, Eli Bosman, Jack Osmunson, Wm. Koehne and George Seiler.
Mr. Buschmann was born in Chicago Sept. 27, 1899, to Mr. and Mrs. Godfred Buschmann. Three years later the family moved to Sawyer. He was a foreman at Van Camp's and was a member of the Holy Name Society and of the Eagles. He and Mabel Londo were married in Sturgeon Bay Nov. 23, 1920.
Surviving Mr. Buschmann are his father, his wife, and five children, Milton in the Air Corps at Keesher Field, Miss., and Darrel, Norman, Robert and Dale at home.
