Alice Albert, 91, lifelong resident of Green Bay, died Friday, March 14, 2008, at a local nursing home. She was born Sept. 17, 1916, in Green Bay, to Rudolph and Ingeborg (Johnson) Glawe. On July 12, 1939, she married Melvin H. Albert. Alice was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Constance Albert and her husband, Terence Adler; two grandchildren, Andrea (Patrick) Amel, Jared Olejniczak; a great-grandson, William James Amel; and a sister-in-law, Cathy Albert; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin in 2004; and a brother, Benoid Glawe.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday. Friends may call at Trinity Lutheran Church, 330 S. Broadway, from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Michael Baucom officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

A memorial fund has been established in Alice's name.
