Henrietta A. Clough, age 88, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, March 13, 2010 at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.
She was born January 21, 1922, in Wittenberg, WI, a daughter of the late Arthur and Martha (Bett) Flader.
On May 5, 1941, she married Glenn Clough in Antigo. They made their home in Antigo until moving to Plymouth in 1966.
She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Plymouth. She had been a Golden member of the Plymouth Eagles Club Auxiliary and a member of the Plymouth VFW Auxiliary.
She and her husband purchased land near Summit Lake, which became the family retreat for camping and relaxing. Her husband preceded her in death February 13, 1979.
Henrietta loved working in her vegetable gardens, canning food for her family as well as baking and cooking and had a lovely flower garden she took pride in. She was an avid sports fan, following the exploits of her grandchildren, and also followed professional sports including football, especially the Packers, basketball and baseball and could quote the players and statistics of each sport. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.
Survivors include one daughter, Karen (Jim) Udovich of Elkhart Lake; one son, Gary (Heidi) Clough of Tigerton; seven grandchildren, Caitlin, Hannah and Jenna Clough, Steven Golbach (his fiancée, Tammy), Terri (Lee) Laughlin, Traci (Scott) Connery and Troy (Jessica) Golbach; four great-grandchildren, Maggie, Michael and Abbe Golbach and Molly Laughlin; one sister, Marion Warren of Antigo.
She was preceded in death by her brother and sisters, Kenneth Deacy, Louise Block, Dorothy Graham and Ersella Porter.
Funeral services will be held, Thursday evening, March 18, at the Wittkopp-Schneider Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. William Rishel, pastor of First Congregation UCC officiating. Burial will take place in Lakeside Cemetery in Summit Lake.
