ANNA BORKENHAGEN

Miss Anna Borkenhagen, 81, of Adell, a retired registered nurse, died Wednesday evening at Plymouth Hospital, following a lingering illness.

She was born Sept. 15, 1890, in the Town of Sherman, daughter of the late Ernest and Amelia Scholz Borkenhagen.

She completed nurse' training at Plymouth Hospital and served as a registered nurse for 34 years in Richland Center. She lived in Adell since retiring in 1957.

Survivors are a brother, John, of the Town of Sherman, and a sister, Mrs. Louis Spieker, Adell. She was preceded in death by four brothers.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Adell, with the Rev. Herbert Ries, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Wilk Funeral Home in Adell, formerly the Zuengler Funeral Home, from 4 p.m. Friday until 10 a.m. Saturday, and then at the church from noon until time of services.
