Gary Wayne Bennett, 57, of Universal, died February 15, 2016 at 10:20 pm in Meadows Manor North Nursing Home. He was born June 4, 1958 to Floyd Bennett, Sr. and Marthella Peters Bennett.
He was a Laborer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Geraldine Connett and Diana Little.
He is survived by one son, Jacob Wayne Bennett of Terre Haute; his companion Twyla Crane of Universal; two brothers, Verlin and Gretta Bennett of Terre Haute and Eddie and Helen Bennett of Universal; two sisters, Shirley Richards of Terre Haute and Helen Louise Allen of San Antonio, TX; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 11-1 on Friday at Frist Funeral Home. Services will begin at 1 with Ray Leach officiating. Burial will following Spangler Cemetery.
