The funeral of Charles Bailey Jr., 33, of Kokomo, was Sunday at the Fenn Funeral Home, in Kokomo. Burial was in South Union Cemetery. Mr. Bailey died late Thursday morning from an apparent heart attack. Death occurred shortly after he was admitted to the Kokomo St. Joseph Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov. 2, 1932, in Ervin Township of Howard County, he was the son of Charles and Esther Garrison Bailey. He was married August 4, 1956, to June Kasey, who survives.
He was a member of the Howard Church of the Brethren and had served in the U. S. Army. Mr. Bailey was employed as a surveyor with a construction company.
Surviving with the widow are his mother, Mrs. Esther Bailey of Burlington; a daughter, Julie and two sons, Steven Patrick and Joseph Chris, all at home; four brothers, Gail Bailey and John Bailey both of route 1, Kokomo Delmar Bailey of route 4, Delphi and Harold Bailey of Burlington.
