She had resided in New Castle most of her life. She enjoyed nature, flowers and sharing time with her friends. She also enjoyed politics and was very involved with the Democratic Party. Evelyn was blessed with a long active life and was still driving at the age of 90. She will be remembered as a lady with a warm smile, keen wit and a great sense of humor. She will be missed.
Left to cherish her loving memory include special friend and caregiver, Diane Ridenour of New Castle, and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, at Macer-Hall Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 15, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.
