Oscar Baker, Sr., 53 years old, 610 South Sixth street, died Sunday morning. He was a steam fitter and had been employed for 21 years by the Garfield Dixon company. Mr, Baker was a native of Jackson County, Ky. He was a member of the Plumbers and Steam Fitters Local 697.
Survivors include the widow Mittie, a daughter, Mrs. William Miller of Richmond; three sons, Harold and Tom, both of Richmond, and Oscar, Jr., of West Lafayette; two sisters, Mrs. W. L. Hampton of Richmond and Mrs. Lucille Judd of Grass Valley, Calif., two brothers, Charles ad William, both of Richmond; eight grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Baker will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Stegall-Berheide-Orr funeral home. Rev. R. M. Boston will officiate. Burial will be in the Webster cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
