James W. Fox, 54, 3155 S 100 E, Winamac, died April 30, as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident in rural Pulaski County. He was born Feb. 4, 1953 to Darl A. and JoAnn (Crissinger) Fox.
On Aug. 5, 1972, in Winamac, he married Cheryl L. Dommer. She survives.
Jim was a mechanic at Superior Auto in Winamac. He had worked as a carpenter in the Winamac area and was a former maintenance man at GalFab in Winamac. Jim was a member of ABATE. He enjoyed family vacations, camping, boating, and target shooting. He was an avid Harley motorcycle rider. Jim enjoyed the outdoors and time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl L. (Dommer) Fox of Winamac; one daughter, Misty L. [Gabe] Wheeler of Star City; one son, Dustin James [Catina] Fox of Fayetteville, Tenn.; one sister, Darla J. [Jim] Davidson of Brownstown; three granddaughters: Alexis Fox, Mackenzie Wheeler, and Lacie Wheeler; two grandsons: Jayden Fox and Riley Wheeler. He was preceded in death by his parents: Darl A. and JoAnn (Crissinger) Fox.
Funeral services were held at Frain Mortuary in Winamac on Saturday, May 5, with Pastor William Daniel O'Conner officiating. Burial took place in the Mt. Zion-Franklin Township Cemetery in Winamac.
