The death of Mrs. Carrie Bridegroom wife of Ira bridegroom, occurred Tuesday at their home in Franklin township. She was fifty-two years of age and had been in failing health for several months, but was serious only a short time. A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Ballinger, she came here as a child with her parents from Grant county, where she was born March 15, 1889. Survivors are the husband; daughter Mrs. Gladys Hartwick; sons Francis Bridegroom of Wabash; Arthur of Washington, D. C.; Walter, Albert and Alfred; sisters Emma Holloway and Mrs. Nell Wolfe of Marion; brother Ed Ballinger of Camden, Mich. There are also nine grandchildren. Funeral services were held this (Thursday) afternoon at Franklin Bethel church conducted by O. L. Collier. Burial was in the cemetery near Franklin Center.
