Clarence Beirne 1893-1983

Clarence E. Beirne, 89, Shevlin, died September 3 at Good Samaritan Center in Clearbrook.
Funeral services were held Monday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Shevlin, with the Rev. Micheal Patnode officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery under the direction of Cease Funeral Home, Bagley. Graveside military honors were given by Irvin Blix Post #16 of Bagley.
He was born September 18, 1893, at Oakfield, Wisconsin. He married Magdalen Wagner on march 4, 1918, at Wadena. They moved to the Shevlin area in 1934. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church.
He is survived by seven daughters, Enola (Mrs. Robert) Stubbins, Ione (Mrs. Marvin) Seado, Pat (Mrs. Jack) Brockman, Audrey (Mrs. Richard) Jorstad, Louanne O'Beirne, Marcia O'Beirne, Ceil (Mrs. Ray) Ries, Two Sons, M.D. O'Beirne, Clarence O'Beirne; 28 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; two brothers, Vincent O'Beirne, Bernard O' Beirne; a sister Vera Jaeb.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a son and two grandchildren.
