Gayle Elizabeth Blomberg of Vandais Heights, Minnesota passed away October 23, 2014 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

She was born February 24, 1961 in Two Harbors, Minnesota. She graduated from Whiteland High School, Whiteland, Indiana in 1979.

She is survived by her step-mother, Judy Blomberg; mother, Jean Sandstrom; and sister, Brenda Blomberg. She was preceded in death by her father, John (Jack) Blomberg and her brother, Philip Blomberg.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 9, 2014, at Honeycreek United Methodist Church, 2722 South Honeycreek Road, Greenwood, Indiana. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The service will be at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. David Owens leading the service.

Gayle Elizabeth Blomberg of Vandais Heights, Minnesota, passed away Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.

She was born Feb. 24, 1961, in Two Harbors, Minnesota.

She graduated from Whiteland Community High School in 1979.

Gayle worked for years at Endress+Hauser in Greenwood. The job she enjoyed most was working on the staff at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, working with the children.

She is survived by her stepmother, Judy Blomberg; her mother, Jean Sandstrom; her sister, Brenda Blomberg; her nieces, Jessica (James) Morton, Allie (Mitch) Weaver and Lacy (Nick) Baker; nephew, Levi Shonkwiler; great-niece, Madison Layne; and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, John (Jack) Blomberg; and her brother, Philip Blomberg.

Gayle loved Lake Superior and traveling up the North Shore in Minnesota. Her hobbies were reading, cross-stitching, Facebooking and being with people, especially children. Her nieces, great-niece, nephew and family were the most important things in her life.

Gayle's ability to write and compose was envied by many. Words were her friends. She will be greatly missed by her many friends.

A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 9 at Honey Creek United Methodist Church, 2722 S. Honey Creek Road, Greenwood, with the Rev. David Owens leading the service. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Nov. 9 at the church.
