Mrs. Della Bratvold, 72, died June 20 at her home in rural Clearbrook. The Rev. Richard D. Larson officiated Tuesday at the Good Shepherd Church. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bratvold was born January 22, 1903, to Marvin and Flora King in Greenwood Township, Clearwater County. She lived there all of her life and on January 20, 1923, married Oscar Bratvold. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith, being a member of the Greenwood Lutheran Church and the Greenwood Ladies Aid. She lived four years in Seattle, Washington.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lester (Delores) Johnson of Clearbrook; two sons, Roy of Columbia Heights and Roger of Red Lake;a half brother, Marvin King of Moorhead; a half sister, Laura Holiday of Nashwauk; 15 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Her parents, husband and one son preceded her in death.
