"Mrs. Bessie E., wife of Horace Baker, of near New Windsor, died on Monday at St. Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, where she had gone a few days previous for an operation for appendicitis, aged 21 years, 8 months and 2 days.
She was a daughter of the late Jesse Bond. She is survived by a husband and no children.
Funeral took place yesterday at 12:30 p.m. at St. James Church, near Dennings, Re. Hoffman officiating. Interment in the cemetery adjoining the church. Pallbearers were David H. Stem, Wellington Bloom, Murray Young, Carroll Stem, Raymond Flickinger and William Faver. Harvey Bankard funeral director."
