Mr. Joshua Ahalt, Sr., a well-known farmer, residing near Petersville, this county, was found dead in bed yesterday morning. He retired in his usual health Wednesday night, and no cause is assigned for his sudden death. He was a prominent Democratic politician, and was once the candidate of that party, in this county for register of wills, and at another time for sheriff and was defeated each time. He was about 72 years old, and leaves a wife and a number of children. - Times
