on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Clarksburg, WV on Jan. 15, 1942, a daughter of the late Glenn Hardman and Ena Gay (Hart) Hardman.
Surviving are her husband, Edward L. Allawat, two sons, Glen “Butch”Allawat, Clarksburg, WV and Mike Allawat II, Clarksburg, WV, a granddaughter whom they raise as a daughter, Desirea Allawat Votaw, Bridgeport, WV, a sister, Loretta Shelton, Jacksonville, FL, a brother, Terry Hardman, Clarkston, MI, six grandchildren and two great granchildren.
She was also peceded in death by a grandson, Michael Edward, a sister, Sue Paletta and three brothers, Rex Gerald, Bill Hardman and Craig King.
Mrs. Allawat was a member of the Abundant Life Church in Arlington Addition where she was active in the church as a custodian, communion stewart, member of the ladies mission society and was a deaconess.
Friends may be received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main St., Clarksburg from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wed., Nov. 27, 2013 with Pastors Robert Wilson and Richard Wilson. Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
