VALIER - Dorothy Mae Bailor, 81, died at 7:45 a.m. Friday, Dec. 25, 2009, in Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin. She was born March 9, 1928, in Valier to Ralph Kidd and Cynthia (West) Kidd. She was married to Dwight Bailor , and he survives, of Valier. She was a homemaker. Other survivors include her children, Trudy and Gary Crocker of Valier, Bethaney (Renea) and Jim Bailor of Valier; grandchildren, Lisa and Shannon Gamble, Britaney Bailor, Bridgette Bailor ; great-grandchildren, Garrett Gamble, Jordan Gamble and McKenzi Bailor. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marjorie Conroyd; and one infant relative, Geroldine. Services were at noon Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, in Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home in Sesser. The Rev. Harold Quick officiated. Interment was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Valier. Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home in Sesser is in charge of arrangements.
