Seventh child of Jacob & Catherine (Cogdill)Bohart, born in MO. He married Elizabeth M.Hibbs there in 1870; their 4 eldest children born there. They moved to WA by wagon train in ca 1879; dau.Ada born there in 1887.They later moved to Oregon where they lived for most of their lives,celebrating their 70th anniversary in 1940 and their 72nd in 1942. After his wife died he went to live with dau.Ada in Los Molinas CA and died there at 93 years of age.
A headstone was there for Great-grandpa- photo by great-granddaughter Ada Lindsey Hughes.
