Ronald Jones Adams died of natural causes at his home on April 6, 2011.
Ron's greatest priorities were family, faith, and Brigham Young University (BYU) athletics.
Born May 30, 1951 in Provo, Utah, he was the second son of George Thomas Adams and Wilma Jones. He has three brothers, Robert, Jerry, and Lynn. He married his wife Kristine Howe in the LDS Salt Lake City Temple on August 21, 1973. He is father to Emily Adams Christensen (RJ) and Ann Markay Adams. He is grandfather to Grace Alexandra.
Ron lived as a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where he served in various capacities, including as a missionary in Tonga. He served as the Casa Grande Stake Executive Secretary for fourteen years.
Ron was an avid fan of BYU sports. He unfailingly sported a BYU tie each week after a Cougar win.
Ron will be remembered for his fun-loving nature and for his ability to connect to those around him. His genuine love for people crossed all boundaries and endeared him to all with whom he interacted.
Funeral services will be held at the LDS Stake Center on 1555 N. Colorado Street, Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 10 a.m. A viewing will be held at 9:00 - 9:45 a.m.
Graveside services will be held at the Orem City Cemetery in Orem, Utah on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 11 a.m.
