Cynthia Jean Argyle, age 51, died at McKay-Dee hospital on Monday, March 10, 2008 due to medical complications after lapsing into a coma.
Cyndy was born April 25, 1956 in San Bernardino, CA and welcomed joyfully into the home of Harry Dell and Marian Elaine Darton. She grew up in California and was a true California Girl. She loved to be barefoot, the ocean and California eucalyptus.
Cyndy visited many foreign countries when her father took the family on a trip around the world and had many wonderful memories of it. She also loved to tell stories about her childhood and used to say that they didn't have a lot of money but they always had a lot of love and her parents made growing up fun.
Cyndy was a true child of the '60s and her first car was a VW bug; which she loved so much that her last car was also a much-loved bug. She was very artistic and won many art awards in high school.
Cyndy was a convert to the LDS Church at age 18. She won a scholarship to and attended BYU. She also attended Stevens-Heneger College and Weber State University. She worked as a CNA at McKay-Dee and later in data-entry at IRS.
Cyndy started her family in Ogden and then moved to Riverside, UT for several years. She loved the country and besides six children, nurtured many animals and pets as well. Cyndy doubled her family when she married her true love, Rell Gary Argyle, in the Ogden Temple on October 6, 2000. Gary and Cyndy loved to travel and did so whenever possible. Cyndy loved her extended-blended family very much; she loved and accepted everyone for who they are.
Cyndy was preceded in death by her father and mother; a brother, Robert Michael Betcher; her daughter, Amy Alaine; and two grandsons. She is survived by her husband Gary, Ogden, UT; eight sons and two daughters, Gregory Kim Argyle, Haslet, TX; Austin Gary (Cindy) Argyle), Roy, UT; Shawn Vernon (Sarah) ARgyle, Yuma, AZ; Eric Eldon (Alice) Tiede, SLC, UT; Sean Seth (Allison) Tiede, Ogden, UT; Christian Rell Argyle, Provo, UT; Alex Ryan (Tabitha) Sorensen, Bozerman, MT; Todd Brian (Ariel) Tiede, SLC, UT; Heidi Jean Argyle, Pleasant View, UT; Tara Nicole (Scott) Chatterton, Layton, UT; 25 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
