Athleen Revor Adams, age 93, died Thursday, January 9, 1992 at the McKay-Dee Hospital.
She was born March 6, 1898 in Ogden, a daughter of David George and Rosaltha Douglas Revor. She married Golden Marion Adams on May 23, 1952; their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. Golden died September 19, 1985. She was raised and educated in Ogden, graduating from Ogden High School in 1916. She lived in Layton for 17 years and in San Francisco, California for 17 years. She was a member of the LDS Church. Mrs. Adams had been a telegrapher for the Southern Pacific Railroad for 30 years, 17 of which were in San Francisco, California. She was a member of the Railroad Women, a professional organization.
She met with her Ogden High School women classmates every month for over 70 years. She was a delegate from Utah to the National Democratic Convention.
Survived by one son and three daughters, Clark and Barbara Jean Adams, Washington D.C.; Elaine and Bryan Harris, Carson City, Nevada; Lois and John Putnik, Sacramento, California; Marion and Stephen Robinson, Rancho Palos Verdes, California; 10 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two nieces, Della Russell, Farwest; and Renee and Milt Nelson, Murray. She was preceded in death by her brother, Howard Revor; her sister, Leona R. Russell; and a nephew, Jack Russell.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m., Lindquist Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
