Kay A. Anderson died peacefully at home with his loving wife by his side.
Kay was born one of seven children born to Ralph Anderson and Ruby Shupe. He was sealed to his sweetheart, Nycola Jensen in the Idaho Falls Temple. He is survived by his wife, Nycola; daughters, Gwen (Bruce) Stewart of Arco, Idaho, Gail (Craig) Paice of Portland, Oregon, Peggy (Gary) Wold of Highland, Utah, and Lynette (Kirk) Brower of Spokane, Washington. Kay and Nycola have 25 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Kay is also survived by two siblings, Margaret Jackson and Val Anderson. Kay is preceded in death by his son, Steven J. Anderson; and siblings, Dale, Norman, Don, and Maxine.
Kay and Nycola served two missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Washington, D.C. North Mission, and the Family History Center in Salt Lake City. Kay leaves a legacy of soft-spoken humility and consideration for others, always cherishing his sweetheart, his family, and the Lord. He enjoyed the beauty of nature and all God's creations. Everyone appreciated his zest for life and cheerful disposition. His profound influence for good continues to bless all who knew him. Funeral services for Kay were held Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at the Alpine 9th LDS Ward Chapel, located at 901 East Village Way, Alpine, Utah.
