Phebe was the daughter of George C. and Carrie (Downer) Haag. She married Harry F. Aldridge on Christmas day, 1899 at Decatur, Illinois. He served as a Sergeant in H Company of the 5th Illinois Regiment during the Spanish American War from April 25 to August 20, 1898.

The couple moved to Washington State in 1918. They had no children. He died April 17, 1946 at the U. S. Marine Hospital in Seattle.

On March 29, 1949, at the age of 79 years, she was admitted to the Washington Veterans Home. She stated her next of kin was her best friend, Jack Hart of Lake Stevens, Washington.

Phebe died at the age of 93 years on October 4, 1863 in Retsil, Kistap County, Washington and is buried at the Veterans Home Cemetery.
